About
InHouse Bid started at a kitchen table in North Carolina.
One of us runs a welding company. Ten-hour days in the field — then evenings buried in bids. Retyping the same numbers into spreadsheets. Digging through old quotes. Sending estimates that didn't look half as professional as the work behind them. Some nights, pricing the job took longer than walking it.
The other one of us watched those evenings disappear for years, and finally said: there has to be a better way. The big estimating software out there was built for corporate offices — thick manuals, per-seat licenses, features a five-man shop will never touch. Nothing was built for the contractor pricing jobs from the front seat of a pickup.
So we built it ourselves.
Every screen in InHouse Bid has been tested on real bids for real clients — structural steel, commercial work, jobs that had to be won — by a working, certified welding company that still runs every estimate through this app today. If a feature didn't survive the field, it didn't ship.
Plain English. If a feature needed a manual, we renamed it until it didn't.
Honest pricing. No per-seat games, no surprise fees, no sales calls.
A real person answers. Email us, and the person who built this app writes back within one business day.
"We're not trying to be the biggest name in construction software. We're trying to be the one that actually gets how you work."
